Wabaseemoong Child Welfare Authority was established to improve the standards for our children, youth, and families of Wabaseemoong by enhancing safety and rights while ensuring Anishinaabe customary care practices are recognized and respected by all levels of governance dealing with Child Welfare. We work to create and implement our own Wabaseemoong Customary Child Care Law .
